WATCH POP

On the face of the watch in the outer circle there are numbers and the words "base 1000 meters". Can someone advise what this means. You can ´time´ the speed with which you are travelling:
- start the chronograph and let it run until you have travelled a 1000 meter distance
- stop the chronograph and the big chronograph seconds hand now points to the (average) speed with which you travelled the 1000 meters.
Example: if you travel the 1000 meter distance in 30 seconds the chronograph seconds hand point to "120" meaning the average speed you travelled at was 120 kilometers per hour.

If works the same as the Tachymetre but is used to tell the heartbeat frequency:
- start the chronograph and
- stop it after you counted 30 beats (hence the Graduated for 30 pulsations)
The big sweeping chronograph seconds hand will point to the number of heart beats per minute (heart beat frequency).
Example: if you count 30 beats in 30 seconds the chronograph hand points to the 60 beats per minute position on the perimeter track.
