Do you think this makes it look more "legend"??

My "Legend" with NOS vintage "Volkswagen" military style leather strap ...

Now, this looks perfect to me ... at least!! :)

When your watch gets out of order you have a choice of two things to do: throw it in the fire or take it to the watch-tinker. The former is the quickest. -MT

...and it distracts from the beauty of the watch itself. But, as Damon says, if you like it... Regards...DW "I am not young enough to know everything." - Oscar Wilde

Edwin! Long time no see! How have you been man?!?!? I'm sure plenty of people will disagree with me, but I think that strap has a funky kind of appeal... While I don't think I'd have it on that strap all of the time, I think it looks pretty cool.

Cheers and don't be a stranger!
Answer:
... since I'm a huge watch lover and the Legend is a bit smaller to me if wearing with bracelet, especially in summer time!! :)

BTW, pls don't forget I still have the original bracelet and I would change it back during the winter time. For the time being, it looks great with my tee and jeans, and most of my friends seeing it in real agree this point!!

Anyway, no harm and just fun!!

Hi Chuck,

Sorry for my laziness in posting but actually I still often come here to take a look!!

When I was back from Toronto to Hong Kong, I have tended to concentrate on contemporary watch collection and many of my vintage watches were gone. However, I still keep my vintage Omega Collection in good sharp, including the Pre-Moon 321, Speedy 125, Ploprof, SM 120m chrono, and Flightmaster.

In respect of the new models, now I find the Legend to be the most beautiful Speedy. Previously I thought it should be the Speedy SS Moonphase, but its dark grey dial (why not totally black in color?) makes it lose marks IMO.

Cheers.

First off, just because it's not my first choice doesn't mean that I don't "approve" of you wearing it that way -- I just wouldn't do it myself.

Having said that, it looks a lot better that way when on your wrist than in the first picture you posted. Maybe because the big side flap things are now curved around your wrist. It looks much better on rather than off.

Enjoy, my friend! My Homepage

in a way. Another different variation to look at the Speedy. Gosh... I really like the Legend over the 35th. I wish it was a manual wind Speedmaster.

I hope one day I'll come across one. In the time being I'm saving up for a GMT Master II but now I can't decide.
