Sorry, if I am a bit naive, but I am new here: If Omega sells its watches ONLY through authorized dealers, where are all the Omegas on grey market coming from? I understand that grey market is flooded with Omegas allegedly being genuine? who sell them out the back door since they are not moving stock. Usually watches sold on the gray market have their serial numbers removed to protect the dealer who is selling them to the gray market dealer(s).

manufacturers turn a blind eye to, sometimes. have a serial number, since most manufacturers have given up prosecuting their distributors and retailers for supplying the gray market, especially in these tougher times.
They'd rather have the sales. is really trying to crack down on gray market watches since they are trying to move the brand higher up the ladder in the watch world.
