wrist too small for speedy pro?

Hi there,

I normally don't wear wristwatches but carry a pocket watch instead.

However, there's one watch that I simply can't resist, and that's the Speedmaster Pro. The only thing that's holding me back is my small wrist. It's 6inches in circumference and about 50mm across. Would a speedy pro look ridiculous? I'm not too fond of the dial on the reduced version either.

Any thoughts?

Answer:
...and the Speedy Pro, while an AWESOME watch, is pretty big more me. I rarely wear anything about 40mm. The lugs on some 32mm watches even hang over my wrist. My ideal size is 38-40mm, depending on the weight.

If you only have a 6" wrist I think you'll find it looks VERY large. The weight might also be a concern.

Hope this helps! YMMV, Scott "Clothes make the man. Naked people have little or no influence on society." -MT
Answer:
My wrist is just shy of 6 inches, and when it swells due to the heat or too much salt, it's just shy of 6.25 inches. I wear the Speedmaster Pro, the full-sized Aqua Timer and Seamaster Pro without a problem. It may look funny to you when you try the watch on for the first time, but after wearing it for a half-hour or so, you won't even notice the size, and smaller watches will feel and look to small for you.

Best Regards,
