When you post a reply to a message on the Forum, should you delete the original message?
If so, why? If not, why not?

I delete to save repetion and increase readability of the reply. But if it causes confusion I'd leave the message in.

to which you are responding needn't be repeated for you to make your point or to further the discussion. It just eats up bandwidth needlessly, particularly when you do not delete the text and links included in post to which you responded.
Also, if you do not delete pic links the pic icon will appear with your reply. People will open your post expecting another pic only to find the same pic they've already seen because you did not delete the previous pic. That is especially irritating for those on a dial up connection.
