My new (old) Seamaster 120

Went out today and met up with a friendly dealer I know.

Usually saves me some good stuff. Had a sort through and she had a lot of nice pieces. Keeps them under the counter until I turn up then I get in there for a good sort out.

She knows I like vintage Omega so there were half a dozen bits but when I saw this SM120 I thought "you are coming home with me".

Obviously about half an hour passed with me trying to get the price down and pretending to walk off etc etc LOL!

Anyway here's the object of my travail.

Dates to 1972 with a calibre 565. It all works fine and the dial is perfect. The case could do with a decent polish but aside from that all very nice.

Of course the bracelet doesn't fit so I need to get a couple of links or may put it on a strap for the time being.

Cheers, Neil.
Answer:
When your watch gets out of order you have a choice of two things to do: throw it in the fire or take it to the watch-tinker. The former is the quickest. -MT
