WATCH POP

Hi everyone, I have a Seamaster non-ac with the white gold bezel. I'm looking at switching to the black bezel.

Does Omega sell the black bezels separately...if not, any suggestions on how to get one? Cost of new bezel?

Is it difficult to switch out?

Has anyone done this with the non-ac? Cheers, Shawn Omega won't sell the bezel to you, but you can buy one from ofrei for around $140 USD. To install it, you have to take it to a watchmaker and have he/she do it, or you can try doing it yourself. With a dull blade, you pop the bezel off, and then line the new one up, and push down on it from both sides of the watch (i.e., 6 and 9) until it clicks and you can't remove it by pushing up on it with your hand.

I looked at the Ofrei site, and they don't have the black bezel? Do you know anywhere else I can locate one?

Also, have you removed a bezel yourself? Is it difficult? Switching Bezels:
Possible, Yes
Difficulty, Moderately easy, but it's easy to mar the case in the process.
Cost: As stated, but hard to find.

Other approaches include:
1) Get a 2254.50;
2) Get a 2254.50 and put a non-AC dial on it;
3) Get a 2254.50 and sell your non-AC.
