Special Thanks to Chuck Maddox
I then emailed Chuck with lots of newbie questions and he took considerable time in answering them in a long email. Omega fans are especially lucky to have a man who is so willing to spend his time helping use all out.-- Thanks Chuck you are very much appreciated.

I certainly agree with that! His is an awesome website - fascinating. I'm still considering which watch suits me best and have found lots of excellent information and friendly people on this forum.
Not to mention some pretty cool watches of all different brands!
Still window/web shopping for now - but enjoying it! I spent an hour or so gazing at various watches down at the jeweller today....ahhh.
TZ has been a great discovery for me in the last few days - thanks everyone onboard for making it so!

here, here! I've scoured Chuck's website recently for every bit of Speedy Pro info I could get. I'm not ready to buy vintage, but because of his webside and TZ, I've decided against the Speedy Date in favor of the Speedy Pro moonwatch. It's now down the Speedy Pro or the Seamaster Pro for me. Decisions, decisions.... Thanks Chuck. -Tom

He's an invaluable partner in this small addiction of us, I'm surely glad I had the opportunity to "meet" such a nice person.

Me too, Thank you Chuck for your assistance, when I had bought my frist speedy 321. Remember your thoughts about the pictures and my/your concern of seeing rust. You have had right, it was only some mud at the dial, which could be removed with a sharp needle and with a lot of sweat.
