Gray Market for me Seamaster?

I recently received an Omega Seamaster 2254.50 from my relatives as a gift. I also found out that they had purchased it from an online source and ended up buying it because they thought it was a great deal. I take it that the internet is a gray market source for the most part. The watch has an intact serial number, but I noticed it didnt come with a warranty card. My relatives mentioned they also purchased some sort of coverage plan from the website which covers any sort of damage to the bracelet, crystal, crown, movement...basically anything that couldpossibly go wrong witht he watch, for 2 years. I absolutely love the watch, but now I am feeling uneasy. Should I keep the watch and the coverage offered by this website? Will I have problems getting my watch fixed in the future out of warranty? Any input would be much appreciated!!
Answer:
Enjoy the watch. If you dont have any problems in 2yrs, it doesnt matter when the watch was purchased. If problems occur, the online dealer will take care of it. He may or may not have the in-house facility to correct the problem. You can always take it to a watchmaker or Authorized Omega service center for repairs, but that will be out-of-pocket.
The fact is: its a wonderful gift, and theres no much you can do about it.
Answer:
wonderful gift! sit back and enjoy it. if anything should every go wrong....omega will repair it at your expense, if your gray market dealer's warranty will not.

the key word here being *IF*. very few problems are ever reported regarding the smp. it's a tough, well made, proven watch that you could enjoy for a lifetime or two =)

don't worry....just enjoy Lev
Answer:
I agree with the previous writers. One bad thing with your warranty card not being stamped correctly is that you can not order your watch's COSC-certificate but perhaps receiving that certificate is not important to you.

Answer:
through greys. But, as others have stated, enjoy this wonderful gift. In the unlikely event it needs service, I would simply use an authorized Omega dealer or service center and pay the expense.
