A long time since my last post and indeed I posted here a lot of negative posts about Omega.

Not so this time:
My DeVille Chrono broke mid July showing the widely known non-reset-to-zero error.
I brought it to the Flagship store in Zurich. Beside the obvious error I stated also that the leather strap originally equiped with the watch was worn out already after 4-6 month.

Today I got the watch back. Of course perfectly repaired. But what surprised me was that:
I got a completly new strap with the NEW deployant clasp. WOOOW. Both items together are worth more than 300$.
Even when the old strap was disapointing regarding quality and wear I did not expect that Omega would replace it. (Also after a lot of negative service experiences here in this forum).

The more a big thank you to OMEGA. This kind of service IS producing customers ;-)

Omega gave my watch a treatment which suit to the brand of Omeaga. OUTSTANDING!!! to the New Jersey Service Center three weeks ago ( it's a New Facility and Training Center ). I am hoping that those results will be as good as yours.They replaced your Strap/ Deployant ? Outstanding!

My issue was the Seconds Counter not functioning at all. They did reply last week stating that the Movement was " running poorly " and the chronograph system is " Faulty ". The watch was +2 seconds in three weeks. If that's Poor, I cannot wait for the results when they " fix " it!

to time Testing Durations ( for work ), parking meters, pager response times etc, etc. Still, the failure kind of suprised me. I was under the inpression that the 33XX bugs had been put to bed. Of course, this is not the typical failure that has been reported here. No reset issue, just a "Not Functioning" issue! Oh well....
