Is the Seamaster GMT movement as reliable as the movement of the SMP? Is there anything about the GMT function that will reduce its realability?

I am considering the Seamaster GMT as a weekend watch and need something that will last like the SMP.

Chad Depending on how you look at it, the GMT movement might even be slightly more reliable since it's more difficult for the user to throw it out of adjustment by changing the date too close to midnight. Since the GMT isn't a "quick change" it's not an issue. Also, if you get the co-axial GMT, the longer 10-year as opposed to 5-year service interval should mean less maintenance...
