Omega Seamaster Buying Guide...

...

Ladies and Gents,

I have an Omega buying guide, it should help new members avoid being ripped off.

It's a comprehensive document that details where to buy, how to buy, how to research your seller and how to spot a fake Seamaster.

The principles within are advice I would give ANYONE looking to buy an Omega and it should set anyone in good stead for finding a bargain or two when looking for their next Seamaster.

A direct link to it is not allowed here as it discusses directly issues which are against the posting guidelines. However if anyone would like the link then please let me know.

I welcome any remarks or suggestions for improvement. One member has been kind enough already to provide some photographs of better fakes to enhance the guide to detecting counterfeits.

The more people view it and feedback on it the more comprehensive it can be so please- ask for the link.

My thanks to Chuck Maddox for hosting it.

Pete

I saw your post containing the guide & ( absolutely nothing personal against Damon here... he's just doing his job & enforcing the rules ) I find it a joke that the post has been removed.

Some of you may have noticed a distinct drop off in my activity here... now you know why.

I'd apreciate the link Pete. Fortunately, there ARE other forums out there that do allow information to be shared freely & without restriction.

Steve

P.S. thanks for taking the time & effort to write the guide. I'm sure many people will benefit from it. www.Old-Omegas.com - a great place to find Omega brochures, owners manuals & more !

very much link thank please you yes me send!
Answer:
Thanks for youe support. It wasn't Damon's doing at all but I don't think that it would be right to say anymore.

I will be posting it as it was on some other forums also but as long as the TZ community gets it in some way or another then it's- same effect, different method.

Incidentally everyone who's left a message here asking for it- you'll have it in the next ten mins.

Thanks fellers,

Pete
