For Scan Day: Still one of the best things I love about this watch...

I remember when I first tried on a SMP about ten years ago; I was very impressed with the clasp since I was use to the standard pull and/or fold over claps. To me, there is still something fun about putting on and then later undoing the push-button clasp on my SMP. Besides the clasp, out of the many watches I have owned, nothing has beaten the Bond bracelet in terms of comfort.

Best Regards,

Damon When your watch gets out of order you have a choice of two things to do: throw it in the fire or take it to the watch-tinker. The former is the quickest. -MT
Answer:
Some of the similar Speedmaster and the Speedy style SeMp bracelets with simiar clasps aren't shabby either. I have tried other brands with nice bracelets, but the Omega bracelets suit me best.

As an aside, after all of the years I have worn Omegas with this style clasp my latest Broad Arrow had a small defect in the clasp which permitted it to open with just one button, and our favorite dealer has had a replacement clasp on order for over a month with no luck. Bad time of the year to be limited to wearing a watch on a strap:)

Of the other five or six similar clasps I have owned, I have never had any problem.
Answer:
I needed a change and I really like the look, it reminds me more of the vintage 300 with a strap. bracelet is also great.
Answer:
Must be an early U.S.A. model, like mine-

Although, I later got the "Speedy" style too-

Both are very nice and the Speedy might actually have the edge for looks on the black dial models, but the Bond I like the best overall.
Answer:
and I was lucky enough to have the dealer swap bracelets... glad I made the switch.
Answer:
I hope that you have enjoyed yours as much as I have mine. It has been through countless adventures far and wide, and subjected to some rugged treatment.

A little over a year ago after taking delivery of my 42mm black Planet Ocean, I semi retired my old Seamaster Pro to the watch case (a shame), and intend to send it on the Bond bracelet to Switzerland for a complete going over sometime in the future.

A watch like this can attach to a lot of memories, and mine will be passed on to my grandchildren some day for those sentimental reasons.
Answer:
Picked this up on Sales corner. It turns the America's cup into a TOTALLY different watch!!

Answer:
Which came OEM first on the America's cup and then on the black dial SeMP after it was introduced.

I have one which I wore quite a bit, with the old style friction fit flip over Omega deployant, before the new style with push buttons. Think I may have bought mine from David Moss on the TZ Sales Corner many years ago, to change the look a bit.

If not the Omega strap, then a very good likeness and I would be curious of the make, since it does look very nice.
Answer:
Hi Tim--it's the Omega with the old style friction fit clasp. It's a very nice change from the Bond.
