A Real Stubborn Crown.

hey guys,

I was out of town for a couple of days and unfortunately I wasn't wearing my SeMP 2531.80 So, now I am trying to pull out the crown to wind it and it does not want to come out. I haven't reset my watch in a while because it keeps very good time and usually I have my AD take a look at it before I go and tinker with it. What can you guys prescribe to fix the problem? I know SeMP's usually have stubborn crowns but I don't want to force it.
Thanks Much!

Answer:
When your watch gets out of order you have a choice of two things to do: throw it in the fire or take it to the watch-tinker. The former is the quickest. -MT
Answer:
yeah I mean that I can't pull it out to set the time or to wind it. it's really hard to pull out. I really don't want to tug on it really hard. Proud Owner Of The Omega Seamaster Professional (2531.80), Seamaster Professional GMT (2538.20), Seamaster Professional America's Cup LE (2533.50)
Answer:
I had the same issue with my first SMP. I would sort of move the crown back and forth while applying minimal "pull." It would pop, if you will, and then it was smooth sailing from there. I had to do it each time and I guess I just got used to it. It's like a child, every one is different. IMO. Reality is nothing more than a perception...
