Sunday at the Beach

Spent the morning at Lawrencetown beach with the family. My little guy loved playing in the rocks & sand, but it was a little cool at about 2 deg C. I had to take a few obligatory shots of The Beast in it's natural environment.

It felt good to swim in salt water again.

Best Regards,

Damon When your watch gets out of order you have a choice of two things to do: throw it in the fire or take it to the watch-tinker. The former is the quickest. -MT
Answer:
That shot has inspired me to get over to the coast next weekend. Ok, its only Cleethorpes but I'm sure me and my son will have a great time looking for small rocks pools with fish, crabs and the like. To an almost 3 year old, they may as well be huge monsters :)
No swimming though like Damon, even though the weather is promised as good, the water will be freezing still.
Also, Cleethorpes has some of the best Fish n Chips so I know what we'll be having for dinner! If you ask Chuck Norris what time it is, he always says, "Two seconds 'til." After you ask, "Two seconds 'til what?" he roundhouse kicks you in the face. Chuck Norris doesn't wear a watch, HE decides what time it is!

You posted earlier that you were having some trouble with your watch. Did your AD take care of it for you? Your watch looks great. I tried one on over the weekend and am bitten by the bug. How have you liked it now that you've had it a while?
Answer:
I kept the same watch that I was having problems with. Interestingly, there have been no further problems, and it was likely something I was doing rather than the watch, because everything has been perfect for a week. I lose about 2 sec/day presently, while setting it on the crown at night it holds time perfectly. I don;t worry about it any more and am VERY happy with it. Every morning I wake up and put it on makes me smile. It is heavy, but after a few days I topped noticing it. It wears like a dream, and it seems no matter how hard I try, no picture can do the watch justice. If one hasn't seen it in person, they're missing out, it's an absolute stunner.
