Movement in Railmaster XXL? >>

<< I was looking at one of these, and it sparked my interest! Can someone tell me what movement this manual wind beauty is based on? A Unitas?

Thanks!

I've thought the same thing about the Railmaster it sure looks like some Omega mod of Unitas, I do know it's basically a pocket watch movement they shoehorned into a jumbo sized case. With all the opins on the Planet in 45.5 being too big I can only imagine what the small case club would have to say about this almost 50mm beast. The only knock I can see is lack of date but other than that I really like the watch and it's maybe 6 on my watches to get list.

<< ..I was pretty much set on a PAM being my next watch. I saw this, and the 45.5 PO, and I'm now again rethinking the PAM. The Railmaster XXL really caught my eye at the watch shop in Vegas. It was huge, but not unwearable at all. The movement did seem based on a Unitas, but I could be totally wrong, as I really can't remember now... Anyways, I sold a 2254.50 SMP a while back, and am missing Omega, in general. I may pick up this monster Railmaster, or a PO here very soon.... :-)

Decisions, decisions!

You can't go wrong with the Planet I've had one for over a year in 45.5 and never a day I regret the purchase!!
Answer:
Yeah the PO 45mm is small compaired to the RailMaster 50mm. I was at the mall this past weekend, and they had a Fossil watch that was bigger then my PO 45mm. There always something bigger i guess if you want it. Ron
