WATCH POP

Ok so I know posting questions on prices is "bad" on these borads but can i post a question and have people PM me with their answers?

The Big "T" watch store here in ATL, has an Omega GMT in their pre-owned department. They have it on hold for me and he gave me a price of $1695 with the opportunity for negotiation.

The watch is an 04' on SS bracelet with white face with all boxes etc.

So now, calling all Omega GMT experts, what would be a fair price to work them down to?

As stated first, please PM me with your answers, I dont want the Forum gods angery at me.

I am going over 1t noon to work a deal so any quick insight would be helpful.

BTW, the Great White is my favorite of the Seamaster line. I've owned three but for some reason, they just don't fit my wrist.

Fr. John+ here on the sales corner from time to time for quite a bit less than the price you were given so I would look to buy one here first or at least look at the sale price here and use that as a guide for your negotiation. I think my wife intercepted the memo you sent. I heard her muttering something about "11 freakin watches and he only wears one at a time!!".

It was in my best interests to make this go around a single purchase only. I really like the all brushed finish. Might have to find a "dual color" bezel though.... Funny you mentioned that, I was thinking the same thing.

A bit of black on the bezel (such as on the black face GMT) would realy give it a unique finish.

If anyone has done a mod similar, please post somne pics.

I think the only problem is the black face GMT bezel has a polished finish, and ours has a brushed finish. But it still might look good. Perhaps an insert swap then, not the entire bezel.
