moving day find
I found this one picture that it looks identical to. The picture says it was circa 1976.
it is an OMEGA MEGAQUARTZ 32Mhz (the lettering at the top) and the face is in excellent condition. It looks identical to this one shown here:

my wife is insisting I throw it out or donate it with the rest of the "junk" being thrown out or given away. I need some inputs that justify me holding on to this thing.
I don't know how to even get the back off of it to check the serial, but just wondered if there was someone that could validate that this is something worth holding on to.
are their other omegas from other years that look identical to this? I suspected it might be a little older than 76, but maybe not.
Answer:
It's more likely to be early to mid-seventies, with a cal.1310 movement. They're not worth a fortune but are a very nice, reliable and accurate watch so if I were you I would hold onto it. A few people on here have them, here's mine with a blue pinstripe dial... Regards, KierΩn
Answer:
Junk indeed! Tell her "Forget it woman! It's not junk!".
Answer:
Ever notice when it's your's it's junk and when it's their's it might come back in style.
