Question about Bond Seamaster

What is the retail price of this watch, not the one with the weird james bond dial, the regular model.

I have wanted this watch for years an am finally thinking about picking one up.

Also, have there been any changes to this watch this year?
Answer:
The newest model (ref. 2220.80) is $3,050 (USD). It has applied indices and logo, "Seamaster" in red font and a slightly darker shade of blue as cosmetic changes. But the real important change is that it now uses the Omega 2500C coaxial movement. Outstanding watch. Best of luck.
Answer:
Just for your info, the MSRP in Europe is 2300 Eur (3092 USD) but we never seem to have a discount more than 10% here.

I the US, discounts are more interesting.

Does anybody know of an AD in France Germany Belgium or Luxembourg who might do better on this model? Francisco A. Malpica http://www.franciscomalpica.com

Answer:
personally, (and everybody really does have a different feeling on this), i prefer the just discontinued model, 2531. I like the dial better myself. I think its simpler and cleaner. Kind of like I prefer the old Submariners (5513), to the new, I actually like the look of the painted on markers. I do like the red 'seamaster' script though, so i don't think you can go wrong either way. The price on the 2531's both new (if you can find one) and used is also at a low point due to the recent discontinuation, they have been selling for pretty cheap recently on the SC. Answer:
You can always go for a mint condition pre-owned. There are always a few on the Sales Corner of TZ.

I personally like ebay. I picked up a nice 2541.80 Bond Seamaster quartz for less then half the retail price of last years model in excellent condition. The 2541.80 is the one Bond wore is Goldeneye. I know many dont like quartz but I enjoy wearing it because of the time accuracy and, even though this was not my decision maker, it costs less too.

Be careful on ebay. You need to know what your looking for if you go this option. Many try to 'trick' you by selling a mid size as the Bond-Model (bond has never worn a mid-size). There are always the replicas that try to sell as the real thing.

If you see anything you like on ebay, PM me and I can give tips.
