Looking to buy a Omega X 33 I came accross this watch on ebay:

Manual is strange, watch box is diffrent from standard, no markings on band. What do you say: fake or original? Manual is right.

Box is obviousluy not original.

Gen 2. Yes you can wear it swimming, flying & what ever you can throw your-self at & into!!! Otherwise you got the wrong watch.. I am no expert but the X-33 would be a hard watch to fake. Can't just repaint a dial etc. The worst that it could be is a TOS (1st gen)changed into a TNG (2nd Gen) X-33. There is a thread below that explains how to do it.

Omega Forum Moderator When your watch gets out of order you have a choice of two things to do: throw it in the fire or take it to the watch-tinker. The former is the quickest. -MT They're uncommon but mostly easy to spot. The biggest giveaway is if the hands and digital time readout don't agree precisely, though this can also just be a sign of an improper setting/configuration. If you have the chance to hold it in the flesh, look for the half-minute jumping minute hand - no fakes will bother to replicate this.
