WATCH POP

I checked the time and my watch looked funny to me. It took about three seconds for me to realize the bezel was missing from my Speedmaster.

I retraced my steps and was lucky enough to find it. It appears to be in good condition and not bent. I have tried to snap it back on but no go.

It looks like I need to go to my watch maker to have it installed back on the watch. Any tips on how I can do this myself would be appreciated. Thanks Your watchmaker will have one and should be able to put it back on for you in less than 5 minutes.

Damon When your watch gets out of order you have a choice of two things to do: throw it in the fire or take it to the watch-tinker. The former is the quickest. -MT Damon, Thanks for the heads up on the crystal press. I have never had a bezel pop off before and I do not baby my watches. Is actually an easy job to put back on, if you want a try.
I popped one again recently to change to a SS bezel, have
removed them in the past to polish the perspex without fear
of marking the bezel.

The thing is suprisingly easy to pop off, harder to put back
on. You need something plastic that will not mark the bezel.

I found the top of a fabric conditioner bottle an exact match.
One firm press down, pop, and it's on.
