is this Seamaster authentic?
Thank you.

Do not post links or item numbers to any ongoing or completed eBay auctions since it is a violation of the here.com 's

Doesn't feel right to me.. The bracelet is not that shiny. I don't know may be its the angle. But I have a feeling its fake.
Answer:
Hard to tell- most of the usual Seamaster suspects look good (ie, the helium release valve looks to be in the right place). The look of the bracelet does appear to be different, but it could be that the entire bracelet is brushed, or polished, as opposed to the two tone it comes in from the factory.

Answer:
It appears to be authentic from the pictures but the bracelet was swapped. I don't believe Omega ever released that case and bracelet combo.
Answer:
The braclet is not the one that comes with that watch. It could be an OMEGA braclet from another model but I cant tell. The watch LOOKS alright BUT be careful. What other information do you have on the watch? eg. history, papers, serial number etc.

I'm comparing it to the SMP on my wrist right now and it looks ok. Authenticwatches.com is a long-time gray market seller, and I've seen them selling the SMP on the Speedy style bracelet on their site. If you have any doubts about this watch, pass on it. There are many more on eBay to be had. Check out seller "jmryshi", I've heard nothing but good things about him. 'stoph "Guess what? I got a fever. Answer:
but the bracelet doesn't. Just as an fyi, a new SMP bracelet is expensive so if you end up not being happy with the bracelet you get with it, expect to cough up.
There have been some pretty good SMPs out on Sales Corner recently so you may want to hold off on buying off "fakes-r-us-bay" and keep an eye on SC.
Answer:
The bracelet looks like the one used on non-bond SMPs like 2254.50.00 and 2594.52.00. The gray market dealer mentioned is known for swapping bracelets between models (they even make up reference numbers for these watches). My guess is that this watch is purchased from the gray market but authentic. However, if you have any doubts, I'd advise you to walk away... By the way, it looks like 3 or 4 links have been removed from the bracelet. If you decide to buy this watch, make sure that you are getting extra links or prepare to pay for them extra.
Answer:
Authentic Watches.com is a grey market e-tailer. The definitely get around; you see a lot of thier stuff on the 'bay'. They are notorious for swapping bracelets around and creating "interesting" combinations that Omega never produced. They have an OK reputation as far as grey market dealers are concerned, but the warranty would be throught them, NOT Omega. You're buying used, so I have no idea how that might affect their warranty, but if its 2+ years old, thats not really relevant. Still, its nice to have all the boxes and correct cards. It looks OK from an authenticity perspective, but I'd keep shopping. To me, the 'Bond' Seamaster ought to have the 'Bond' bracelet. You'll have an easier time reselling it if you keep it legit.

Answer:
Yes, I have a reference number on it of 273180000, I tried looking this up on the "watch finder" part of the omega.ch website, but no luck, I did general google on it, and all the sites that come up have the same watch, but the sites are of the authenticwatch.com or ewatch.com variety. Does this help?
Answer:
Probably an authentic Seamaster with a Speedmaster bracelet. If you don't like it, or have reservations, walk away. BTW, 'jmryshi' is a very good seller.
