Answer:
I own one and am wearing it right now. It is the 39MM size. You will love it but they wear big so I recommend that you go to an AD and try all sizes on to make sure.

My AD is in a different state and he recommended the 39MM and I am glad I took his advice. My wrist is 7.25 inches and it looks and wears great.
Answer:
Very legible with exceptional classic look. Looks great on a bracelet or strap. If lack of date display does not bother you, then go for it! Regards, LimoGuy

i had a 39mm loved it, traded it damon for 42mm blue dial AT.

Loved the 42mm size as well.

They do wear big, if possible try it on

heres a quick pic of a 39 on a double ridged rubber strap

Answer:
I don't own one but have tried all of them at various ADs (39mm, 41mm, Chrono, and whopper 49mm). I think I would like the 39mm or possibly the chronograph, eventhough the chrono is not co-axial.

Be aware that the 41mm version takes a 21mm strap. This is a more unusual strap width and general aftermarket straps of this width are VERY limited. Turbinator "It takes a big man to cry, but it takes a bigger man to laugh at that man". – Jack Handey

Here's my 2502.52 41mm Railmaster.

I'm very fond of mine. Great legibility, comfortable and just looks great on the wrist.

But I just got mine a couple of weeks ago on the bracelet.

Love the size (42.2mm) and simplicity of the piece - I'm a sucker for basic watches without the date.

Here are some pics of mine:

Good luck with your decision - and be sure to post some photos if you pick one up.

Cheers...

The Railmasters are beautiful. Clean, classic look. I looked at the 49mm at a big 'T'. It is almost comical it is sooooo big. Like a clock on the wrist. Charlie, DeVille Prestige 4800.31.01; Seamaster, 1961, Gold, Cal. 500; Seamaster Pro 2231.80; Speedmaster 3523.30; Speedmaster Pro 3570.50

and I see you have both.

How do the two watches compare? I'm thinking for my next watch (whenever that is), I'm going to have to decide between the two. I love the classic, rugged simplicity of both watches.

Sapphire-sandwich Speedmaster, Railmaster chronograph, and five Seamasters (classic Bond, GMT, 45.5mm Planet Ocean, electric blue, and SMP chronograph) make up the modern core of a collection that features over 33 vintage Omega's dating back to 1935, including 14 other Seamasters and nine hummers (f300's).

you know it is an awesome piece...my only change would be applied "Omegas" like on the other AT models...

BTW- this is a 42, and I used 22mm straps since the 21mm were hard to find

The Rolex EXPLORER 1 next to a Railmaster. Ive wanted the Railmaster so long but something always seems to jump in front of it. Recently it has been ushered aside by a GEMINI Speedmaster (that at this point is still unworn) and a IWC Pilot Chrono. These pics have convinced me that Railmaster should be my next purchase. BTW- Michael/Meric looking forward to the day after thankgiving.
