The stainless steel band is tough to re-finish, but for brushed areas such as the clasp, 3M scrotch brite pads or similar dish washing sponges with the scouring pads work well. Brush in light single strokes in one direction till the minor scuffs have disappeared. Deeper scratches would require something like a dremel tool to remove.
