: -MitchHmm. You are probably talking about either a cal. 1040 (Omega Nr.) or the cal. 1045 (also Omega Nr.). The cal. 1045 is also better known as the Lemania 5100.AFAIK only Lemania made cal. with this minute hand, which is so easy to read.
Some Speedmasters from Omega used this cal. back in the 70's and 80's. It's a very rugged and reliable calibre (L. 5100) with a lot of plastic parts. My favority calibre BTW, beside the cal. 86X/186X of course.Regards

The Lemania c.1342 was the base movement for Omega's various c.1040 movement based chronographs (Mark III, Mark IV, and a number of Seamaster Models), and also the c.1041 which was used in the Speedmaster 125, 125th anniversary model watch, which was the worlds first automatic chronograph chronometer with date and only 2,000 (supposedly) were produced. (I say supposedly because a number of us think that there are a lot of 125's out there available for purchase for such a limited production run nearly 30 years after sale)...I would also add that several manufacturers also used the Lemania c.1342 for their chronographs, notably Tissot and Wakman.-- Chuck
