Franco is correct. In addition, from an article that I recently read, the 550 was the caliber that was used in the watches that were used by the Royal Navy Divers from the late 60's through the early 70's.

it just depends who wrote the article. I have seen perhaps 4 or 5 genuine Royal navy SM300, all had a 552.
