Seamaster/P.O. Strap question.
Answer:
Here is a pic of another possibility, please excuse the watch it is attached to ;-) have a good night everyone.
Answer:
I think the general viewpoint was that the first strap option you have here looked terrible. Sorry to be blunt, but I think so as well. It looks (as someone else mentioned), "very 70's hippie" and not in a good way. Interestingly, that strap is the same one I had on my first watch ever, a manual wind Bradley Smokey The Bear model from the 1970s. I must have been 5 or so when I got it and I stil have it (but on a different strap as the picture below shows). I recall the original strap was not even leather but plastic. I had it serviced a while back but it is out of commission again and more just something to look at. It's also very, very small.
I am not wild about leather straps on Seamasters - except for the PO models where the straps all seem to be a bit more stylized (ex: orange leather, black with some orange stripes, etc.).
If you really want to put the GMT on a strap, maybe a carbon fiber model might be interesting and sporty.

Answer:
maybe a pilot's / flieger style watch would be a nicer fit. The 2nd strap I think could work better.
Answer:
In my personal opinion OMEGA already offers a good variety of straps from different materials and diverse color combinations for the Semaster Planet Ocean series. Sincerely I don't think that a pilot's strap would enhance the appearance of a diver's watch. But again, this is only my own opinion.
Answer:
I put my 41mm Railmaster on a similar strap and I love it. But then again, the Railmaster does have a bit of a Flieger stlye to it.
