No, Arabic Index @ "12" is just an earlier version... If I had wanted to post an earlier version of the calibre, I would have posted a picture of my 1947 27 Chro C12 Omega, the 2451-1...=)

I called Kirk Rich Dial about a year ago when I was going to have my first dial refinish done. They informed me that they only do dials "for the trade" (i.e. for dealers) because they're found that collectors are too particular about the results. They told me that their dies are second generation and they just don't produce high enough quality to suit a collector who wants perfection. Afterwards, I saw some of their refinish jobs and I'm glad they discouraged me from using them. The chapter lines and logos didn't have sharp edges and appeared to to bleed in places. There was no way you would ever mistake them for original. It's not often you find a vendor honest enough to turn away business... for that they should be commended. When Kirk Rich Dial turned me away, I found another company, International Dial in Wilmington, Ohio, that came highly recommended. I've had about 15 dials done by them and the results are FANTASTIC! The price is even a bit lower than Kirk Rich for most dials. One caviat... be sure to tell them you want the "Swiss" mark replaced at the bottom of the dial or they don't do it. They can be contacted at (937) 382-4535. Hope this helps!
