Oris Big Crown TT1 Divers vs Seamaster

I realize that this forum may be a little biased towards the Omega, but does anyone have thoughts that might help me decide whether to buy the Oris Big Crown TT1 Divers OR the Omega Seamaster. The Oris is considerably less money, but less well known. I assume that the quality of the Oris might be slightly higher(?). They both look great. Any opinions????
Answer:
The Seamaster has a long history of being a true diver's watch. I'm a scuba diver myself, and have used Omega seamasters for close to ten years now without a hitch. The movement in the Oris is the ETA 2824 which is respected for being rugged, but is a notch below the thinner, more accurate (generally) ETA 2892-A2. Most Omegans here sing the praises of the 2892 (Omega 1120) for its accuracy and robust nature. Plus, the Omega is COSC certified and has the helium escape valve if you a bell diver, or need it for working in extreme underwater conditions. The Oris is a good value, but the two most popular dive/sports models on the Swiss market today are without a doubt the Rolex Submariner and the Omega Seamaster. I would suggest getting one of these two, and enjoy years of pleasure!
Answer:
If you want quality and style - get the Omega. The movement is a dream - can't be compared to the Oris imho.

Answer:
Get the Seamaster Professional. The Oris is a nice watch. But, not in the same class as the Seamaster Professional.
