BROAD ARROW 1957-DIAL DIFFERENT THEN ORIGINAL?
I am interested in the new Broad Arrow 1957 with the white or silver dial. I see that the new version has a saphire display back and a saphire crystal rather then the origianl acrylic version. My question is does the dial look brighter or more silver then white then the original? If so, is it due to the saphire crystal rather then the acrylic?
Thanks for all input, answers and scans,
Aex B.
Answer:
Gorgeous watch IMHO. The new BA has a more silver dial whereas the older BA had a white/creme dial.
Answer:
"...origianl acrylic version." which version? All Broad Arrow has sapphire crystal. mjb
Answer:
The dial on the new 1957 BA looks different from the original BA because it has a silvered dial instead of the cream dial. Both versions of the BA have sapphire crystal. It is the 1957 re-edition with the manual Lemania movement that has acrylic crystal.

Mine was recently purchased and is actually two tone as shown, but specified as silver dialed on the AD receipt. Depending on the viewing angle, it appears white on white. It has a sapphire exhibition back (not shown). Answer:

Answer:
Here a close-up of my Omega BA 1957. The dial is as you can see two-toned and more silver/white than the normal BA. Another difference is the rodiom-plated edge around the subdials. It has a sapphire crystal front and back.
