WATCH POP

hi guys.

i recently re purchased a PO after making a decision to sell one a few months ago. Couldnt be happier with it.

I also had a DiModell Chronissimo strap that i was trying to fit to my Sea Dweller but was struggling to get the bracelet off the SD, so i tried it on the PO instead and am liking the new look.

i'm definately NOT a fan of the orange bezel PO but last few days i've had the urge for the PO 42mm with the orange text on the dial and black bezel. I'm really starting to want this combination, so there MIGHT be another PO purchase on the horizon soon!

I cant believe i sold this one. At the time, i wasnt really happy with the weight of the watch etc etc, but this time round, the weight doesnt really seem like a problem.

Also on my last PO, i had removed the external AR coating because it scratched within a few days of me getting the watch. This time i'll try and hold off on doing this asap. If scratches DO develop on the watch though, i'll probably buff the coating off this one too.

Anyway, here are some pics. Its good to have an Omega again!

The former is the quickest. -MT That Chronissimo strap really goes well with the black and white PO. I think I may have to get me one of those. I don't like it, sell it to me and buy another.. I will bear the burden of wearing it. By the way, how hard is it to take of the outer AR coating. I am seriously considering buying one after I sell me ND Sub but the outer AR is a huge turn off for me, like you said, it scratches so easy. I have owned watches with outer AR and the crystal looked horrible with all the little hairline scratches I got in it. If I buy one, I will probably remove the outer AR to save the hassle . rEGARDS Fantastic combo. I think I will have to get one for my PO.

Len General - i've looked at the orange PO in person but i just cant bring myself to buy it. Something about the bezel - i dont really think its for me.

that being said, i'm really tempted by the PO with the Black Bezel but orange 6,9 and 12 markers. I think the splash of orange on the dial with the orange tipped seconds hand looked awesome. This look is REALLY starting to grow on my and i think a purchase is just around the corner.

KARMATP - i've attached some pics of my older PO (before i regretfully sold it) with the AR coating removed. Basically with the coating removed, the dial doesnt come across as black, its a dark grey. Also the hour markers appear a little more greenish than normal. Beyond that, i cant really tell much difference.
