That's what the mfgs want you to believe so you buy from an AD. Many good online sellers (aka grey) that can be trusted. I'm surprised the mfgs claim 99% and not 101%.

I'll third that...lots of legitimate sellers on the net, at the bay and elsewhere, and quite a few of sellers of fakes also. "99%" sounds like someone trying to protect their interests. I'd say the risk of being had by a fake is inversely proportional to the amount of research you do on the model you're buying. Knowing your stuff is your best defense. Lots of good info on spotting fakes of the more common Omegas can be googled or found here via search. Good luck and take your time to become knowledgable if you're buying from a non-AD source.

I don't think it does but www.breitling.com states that 99% are fake and the rest are from doubtful origin. Kinda strong words. This is from their front page.
