Best vintage Rolex "bible" for noob?

If you have to buy just one collector's "bible", which one would you get? Thanks!
Answer:
Excellent reference book! /index.php?t=tree&th=901160&mid=3044992&rid=18580&rev=&reveal=
Email me if you'd like to be put on the list for upcoming Edmonton Watch Club meetings (very casual).
Answer:
Very hard to just name one book because there are several important books that I feel are worth owning.
One by Mr Dowling & Hess - Best of Time which provides a comprehensive overview, another on Sports models by Mr Skeet and Urul. And a very thick book by Mr Osvaldo patrizzi which has hundreds of pictures of watches.
For starters maybe the Best of Time is the book to buy, and you can progress to the other two after that. That's the order of how I bought my books anyway.

Hi,
I already have the first two, but do you know if the book by Mr. Patrizzi is still available?
Thanks,

Answer:
I like The Rolex Report, thought not strictly vintage per se.

But shipping is going to be very costly as it is very very heavy. :)

I have Dowling and Hess, and Skett and Urul which are both very good. I can also recommend the Rolex Report which has good info but as has been said is not really focused on vintage watches. It is however pretty cheap for a change!!

Thanks for the info! I'll keep searching.
