Hello & a Bell-Matic for you guys
Hi guys,
Firstly, sorry for taking nearly a month to notice you here. But I'm glad you are ! I frequent another TZ forum, But I actually have more Seiko's ( & a lot less knowledge about them )
So here's the first.... I like Bell-matics ( as well as 6139's & divers ).
I picked this one up a few years ago. marked 4006-6059 on the case rear, "Japan 4006 6070 T" on the dial. Serial number 443174. So I guess its from April 1974 & # 3174 ?
Anyway I think It's pretty cool. I've never seen another in this shaped case ( I bet there are others though!...C'mon guys, now that's an opening for your posts...)
I'm looking forward to learning a lot & hopefully bringing a bit too !
You can click on the picture for a larger version. ( Sorry, I am NOT a good photographer)

Hi You have a nice bellmatic but not rare..
Here is a bellmatic that is in need of a new case. This is the as purchased pic. The movement/dial and hands are mint the case is ragged out I have a nos case for it I never took the time to recase the watch. The dial is mint in this pic the crystal is cracked no worth playing with this case. I will repost when it has a new case I like the bellmatics also..Sometimes you have to make what you want!

...and I have been looking around at different models. Yours certainly is a distinctive case shape and I can't recall seeing that style as yet. Thanks for showing the watch. You have reminded me to have another search for a nice Bellmatic, and maybe even buy one this time!Paul.
