Spring Push Pin Quality

The weakest link of any watch is proberly the spring pins holding the bracelet to the case. I noticed that there are different quality and specifications of these spring pins in diameter, length of the barrel and materials used etc., is there any chart or category that standardrizes these pins ? I want the best and strongest links for my divers as I noticed they tend to bend after awhile with the cheaper pins. Call me crazy, but its these little things that tend to annoy me !

Like one on the top. second one is a standard size spring bar that you can buy elsewhere and 3rd. one is for some bracelet models with limited access.

They designed to fit hole of the diver's strap, has very strong spring loaded and bitch to take it off. If you were using of the standard spring bars, i'd suggest obtain Seiko OEM and swap them.

Thanks for the visual illustration, it looks like the Seiko OEM spring bar does not have the notch for the spring bar tool to take it off, is that why its a "bitch" to take off ? and where can I order the OEM ones online ? Its these little details that can make a good watch a great watch for relatively inexpensive upgrades !
Answer:
Hi again Ed,

Many people tried to remove it with regular spring bar tool and ended up broke the tip, only one i found working is this kind with big folk at the end.

Not only the bar has a strong spring, you have to dig in between the space of diver's strap to get to it. Plastic diver's strap are not so easy to bend and make room for it, especially old one were tend to became hard and no elasticity. Many people use knife for this instead of spring bar tool.

And i've told even watchmakers are having trouble removing them ended up cut the old strap off, and cut the bar together. May i remind you that spring bars are not parmanet deal and it should be replaced periodically, and watchmaker has plenty of them on hand, but they don't usually stock Seiko bars, and realized later that diver's strap has big holes and stocked regular spring bars are too skinny for it.

Anyway you can obtain OEM spring bar from the authorized dealers (part# C220FS for 22mm, C200ES for Monster and any 20mm lugged watch) also you can order 'em from TZ tool shop (they are our sponsor and auth. Seiko parts distributor).

Best regards,
Kohei
