I can time anything now

Got a new Seiko toy in the mail today.

I had to put it next to the other super-chrono and see how they liked each other - so far, so good.

The IWC is fatter and a bit larger around, with no bezel to speak of. It's based on a Valjoux 7750 but with a perpatual calendar that's good for 500 years, or so they say. And good for 120M in the water. And moonphase.

The Seiko is thinner, a bit lighter, and very elegant. It has a power reserve - the first on any of my watches. And maybe I'll be a little more willing to wear it out in the rain (or 10 BAR) since it has those nifty locking pushers! Notice the column wheel through the nice rear port hole.

It wears very nicely on the strap too. Wish I hadn't forgotten to bring the bracelet home ...

Cheers

Mike

Here are a couple more angles.

Whoa ... get off each other you two!

So, do I wear them both to dinner, under my shirt so my wife doesn't see, or just the new one? Yes, I thought so too ...

May I know how much and where you bought it?
Do you know how good the 6s37 movement is comparing to the 7s26 and 4s15 movement? I am very interested in this watch, but I've just purchased a Sumurai with 7s25 movement with a daily rate of more than +20s/day.

I am very new to the watch area and I am trying to figure out what the column wheel do in a chronograph. Any website recommended? Thanks so much and awaiting for your comment after using the watch for a while.
