new YELLOW monster and dressed up YAO...
finallyyyy was able to pick up a yellow monster...woohoo! i wanted to get the yellow dial as it is bright and not ordinarily seen - like the cyclops too as it reminds me of the ones on my subs. i also picked up a seiko oyster bracelet for my YAO 007 and it looks alot better being than dressed with a rhino or rubber strap.
while the monster bracelet is superior to the 'regular' oyster i picked up for the yao w/ the snap latch and the beefier links, i have to say that all seiko bracelets are a PAIN in the @ss to adjust! do you guys agree? this inferior push pin system is really no fun to play with at all and it took me more than several tries to find out that i had to have the amount of links on each side very unbalanced just so the clasp would sit in the middle of the back of my wrist properly.
heck, as shown below, one pin was stubborn and when i got it out, stabbed my finger on the other end....
the results made it all worth while tho! i like the yao a ton more and the monster fits just fine w/ its beefy bracelet =)
