Seiko SARB031

TZ,

I am considering a Seiko SARB031. It's a beautiful dress watch, but the one thing holding me back is the height. It is quoted at 12.5mm My Sinn 556 is 10 mm and that is about the maximum I'd want to go.

I know the SARB031 has a domed hardlex crystal and this adds to the overall height. I am wondering though if this watch still seems bulky on the wrist? Any SARB031 or 030 or 029 owners out there?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi,
I'm the owner of SARB030. Bevore your post I didn't even notice the thickenss of the watch. On the wirst it looks clasicly and natural. The glass makes the watch higer but it gives exceptional elegant look.

It's my first message on the forum. I would like to say Hello to all here users.

Here a photo. I've had one for nearly 6 months. While it is higher than others I've had, because of the smaller size, it does not sit high. It does not seem as nearly as high as some Seiko dive watches.

Nice traditional size, retro styling and a simple, timeless dial. Reggie Ryan reggieNOSPAMryan@gmail.com

Here is a pic of mine on my 6.5" wrists. I think it fits my wrist perfectly. The watch wears and looks thin despite the noticably domed crystal. The case measures 9mm thick and the crystal adds another 3mm of height. I have an 031. 6.5 wrist. Not bulky at all. A classic retro look. Love the domed crystal. Dum Vivimus, Vivamus

You never actually own a watch from Sales Corner. You merely take care of it for the next buyer.
