WATCH POP

I'm trying to get my 18-yr-old step-son interested in watches. Over the holidays, I've dragged him through 4 or 5 watch stores. Out of thousands of watches, the only one he was interested in was a Seiko he saw at a Watch Station in New York. But we were in a hurry and I neglected to get the model name. I should know better than that!

Maybe you can help me identify it. It's a new model, kind of a dressy non-sports, non-dive model on on stainless bracelet. Kinetic, analog, about 38mm to crown, non-chrono, dial dark gray with a date window at 3 o'clock. The Arabic font of the 6 and 9 and 12 o'clock is white, large, angular and square-ish, and modernistic. He likes it because the lettering reminds him of the Matrix.
