....and some very classy design choices. i havethe green-dialed seiko 5 and have been wondering what it would look like with a nice brown strap. looks like i'll be getting one soon! i also thought burgundy might be nice, or black of course. i gotta get me a seiko kinetic. i love the 'Boss' model. but the ones you have are great, too. There are only 10 types of people in the world - those who understand binary and those who don't

Hello folks! I see I have mis-labeled the Criteria watches! They are actually SNCZ41K for the white dialed model with the blue-black ion-plated bezel and SNZC43K for the "granite" dialed version with the black ion-plated bezel.
Sorry about that! Sigh... I should not have had the Mimosas with breakfast perhaps.

Like I was saying, I had already posted these two blue watches I wore they other day, so I didn't include them. I do like the basic black, but they can't ALL be black! :-D Seiko Blue Ti Solar Prospex SBCB009
Seiko Pepsi Kinetic SKA051 (US Model SKA299)
By the way,I looked at a lot of brown straps to match my green-dialed Seiko 5 SNK379, I thought it should have some red in it and all kinds of other theories.
Then I happened to put that Medium Brown 20mm Buffalo textured strap I got from RM Nilsen (eBay strap seller) near the watch, and there is something about the 'softness' of the brown and the green that match really well, I guess they are the same "shade" even though they are different "hues". I forget my Color Theory, but they sure look good together!
Also, notice I am using a 20mm strap on this watch, even though it has 18mm lugs. I just 'pinch' the ends of the strap with pliers before I slip it into the lugs. Seems to work well, and I think it looks a lot more 'substantial" than the 18mm straps.
Have fun!

MAN! I LOVE that White Knight. I guess I'm in a minority here, but the SKXA047 appeals to me, aesthetically, more than a lot of watches costing several times more. I couldn't find one when I wanted to buy, and ended up getting the SKXA049, but the same goes for it. Sure, there are watches, even Seiko's, that apparently are more accurate. But at some point, the gut takes over, and my gut goes with the "Knights."
Answer:
Here is another picture of my White Knight, this time on the original bracelet. I normally _despise_ integrated bracelets, but this one is so nice, I forgive it! Seiko White Knight SKXA047
Also, I used the White Knight as my example watch for my "Strap Notching Tutorial", if you'd like to wear your Knight on a strap! :-)
