An oldie but a goodie

especially when Jack Wong (reficul_x) says he will make it right.

after

It's nice to be important; but, it's also important to be nice!
Answer:

Very nice Jim.

Is that another dial or repaint? Cheers, Neil.
Answer:
Bought it from Jack, upon arrival, it wasn't keeping good time. I put it in for service but watchmaker was hesitant to do anything because dial was glued on and feet were broken.

Jack said he would make it right, so I trusted him and sent it back to other side of globe in Far East.

He found a new dial, had it completely redone, cleaned, oiled, part replacements, adjustments looking brand new and sent it back on his dime.

My trust in him turned out to be proper as he has as much honor and integrity as you could aspire for in a situation like this.

Might not be what a true collector wanted, but I wear them, rarely sell or trade them, and service them regardless of cost through the years.

It's a nice piece of Seiko history with the 62MAS. It's nice to be important; but, it's also important to be nice!
Answer:
The watch turned out great and I'm glad it all worked out. I hope that the original dial was returned to you as the new dial looks to be an aftermarket, so the value of the watch was compromise to a collector.
