WATCH POP

Just picked up a lovely SDMP but had a quick question. There was a bit of confusion over boxes at the AD and I was told that all SD models including the Moon Phase came in the exact same packaging. Is this correct? I seem to remember seeing a photo that showed a limited edition number on the box and possibly a certification of some sort. However the manual clearly covers both MP and other SD's so I am a bit unsure.

If anyone could clarify that would be great The watch should be in a number edition box, with certificate. The numbered box should be in a protective white box, and mine also had the numbers on the outside.
In addition, the whole shooting match should be in a brown cardboard shipping box, preferably with stock and numbers on it, too.

Mine is 179/200 (in the previous post you see 079!).
That's right: You should get the following:
1- Brown carton external protective box
2- White external carton slide box with a sticker with the watch serial number (u can see in the pics too)
3- White squared box with a brown internal square and the number on it.
4- THE WATCH!!!!
5- Seiko certified note, with the number again.
6- Instructions books
7- Warranty card
8- DVD

When I bought the watch they gave me the #182, I asked to exchange it for the #179 that was in other branch. There, it was a mix up with the boxes and they tryed to give a 'standard' SD box.

You are paying a lot for tho whole package!

Claudio Buying a watch is not buying time! I was just at a retailer in Los Angeles where they had 3 in stock, and the packaging matched the images you see here - brown outer box, white inner box, papers, watch, etc.

On the other hand, my Credor Moon Phase spring drive came with a small boring Prospex box. I tried to convince myself (wife looking on) that I needed one of each, but even I couldn't justify that!
