I have inherited what I believe to be a prewar rolex. It is rectangular in shape, two tone with a darker gold circle in the center and raised gold letters. The numbers are in raised gold and the dial bears the legends rolex and centregraph. The movement has 17 rubies stamped on it and the inside of the case has rolex stamped on it but if there is a case number it is hand written and may be 6726HT. The case has a word that appears to be IMRARI stamped on the side. I had it cleaned and it runs accurately. Runs down in about 24 hours or so.Can anyone give me some info on this?

Donald,
I am no expert, but I find it interesting that your watch is labeled "centregraph." The only examples of Rolex that I have seen so marked have been rare one-button chronographs in round cases. I suggest you ask James Dowlling and the aficionados on the Rolex FOrum--you might benefit from their vast knowledge and experience.
